Riyadh, Apr,11 (SANA) Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting vital facilities in Kuwait on Saturday.
In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Kingdom reaffirmed its categorical rejection of these attacks, describing them as a violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
The statement added that such actions undermine international efforts aimed at safeguarding security and stability in the region.
The Kingdom also reiterated the necessity for Iran to cease hostile acts against Arab and Islamic countries and to comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026.
Saudi Arabia expressed its full solidarity with the State of Kuwait, both government and people, affirming its complete support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability.
Earlier, Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced that its air defenses thwarted hostile drone attacks that breached the country’s airspace and targeted several vital facilities, resulting in injuries among National Guard personnel and causing significant material damage.
