Amman, April 6 (SANA) Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Monday reaffirmed the need to halt Iranian attacks on countries in the region during a phone call with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the king stressed the importance of respecting state sovereignty, warning of the risks of prolonging the conflict and the growing economic burden on the region and globally.
He also cautioned against exploiting regional tensions to impose new facts on the ground in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza.
Last Thursday, King Abdullah called for intensified Arab and international efforts to achieve an immediate halt to Iranian attacks, stressing the importance of strengthening joint Arab action to address the economic repercussions of the conflict between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other.
