Abu Dhabi, March 16 (SANA) A missile strike hit a civilian vehicle in the al-Bahia area of Abu Dhabi on Monday, killing one person, authorities said.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office said in a post on the social media platform X that emergency services responded immediately to the incident.
“The competent authorities responded immediately to the incident. We urge the public to rely solely on official information and avoid spreading rumors or unverified reports,” the office said.
Authorities said the victim was a Palestinian national.
The strike comes amid a series of Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting several countries in the region, including the United Arab Emirates, which have caused casualties and damage to infrastructure.
Officials said authorities are coordinating responses to ensure civilian safety as regional tensions remain high.
