Paris, Mar. 13 (SANA) Six French soldiers were injured on Thursday in a drone attack in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan.
AFP quoted the French military’s general staff as saying that the soldiers were participating in counter-terrorism training exercises with Iraqi partners.
The injured soldiers were transferred to the nearest medical facility, the staff added.
Erbil Governor, Omid Koshnaw, said that a drone targeted a joint base in the Makhmur area of the city, injuring the French soldiers.
