Occupied Jerusalem, March 2 (SANA) The Palestine Prisoners Studies Center said Israeli forces arrested 525 Palestinians in the West Bank in February, including 21 women and 37 minors.

The center said mass arrests continued in villages and refugee camps. Homes were used as field interrogation centers, and detainees were subjected to assaults.

The group said 325 Palestinian prisoners died in February, including one arrested from Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza in September 2024 while performing humanitarian work.

The center said prisoners faced worsening conditions, including shortages of food, clothing and hygiene items, restricted movement, and physical and psychological abuse.

Palestinian organizations urged the Red Cross and human rights groups to intervene and press for the prisoners’ release.
