Occupied Jerusalem, Feb. 13 (SANA) Several Palestinians were injured on Friday morning in attacks by Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli forces in multiple areas of the West Bank.
Palestinian media reported that settlers, protected by Israeli forces, assaulted Palestinian farmers on their agricultural lands near the village of Talfit and the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, leaving several people with bruises.
In Bethlehem, settlers pursued Palestinian farmers and shepherds in the Khalayel al-Lawz area, preventing them from accessing their lands in an effort to seize them and impose a new settlement reality.
Groups of settlers, protected by Israeli forces, also stormed agricultural lands south of Hebron, extending to the southern countryside of Jerusalem. They proceeded to cut down and uproot numerous olive trees.
In Salfit, settlers blocked an agricultural road in the town of Kafl Haris and threw stones at Palestinian vehicles, damaging several cars.
Israeli occupation attacks in the West Bank have been increasing in recent years. The Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission recorded 1,872 incidents in January, including 468 attacks by settlers.
