Ramallah, Dec. 5 (SANA) Israeli forces arrested 570 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem during November, Palestine Center for Prisoner Studies reported Friday.
According to a statement from the Center, these figures do not include mass arrests carried out across multiple West Bank towns and villages, which affected hundreds more.
The statement said that between October 7 and the end of November, Israeli authorities conducted roughly 21,000 arrests, including 610 women, about 1,600 children, and thousands of released prisoners. In November alone, eight women were detained, and one prisoner died in custody.
Among the minor detainees, 41 were children, including a 10-year-old from the town of Azun, east of Qalqilya, and a 13-year-old from Jenin.
Human rights groups have condemned the international community’s inaction, warning that silence enables continued mass violence and a “slow genocide” against Palestinians.
They urged immediate protective measures, a halt to airstrikes and blockades, withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, and the establishment of an international mechanism to hold perpetrators accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
