The Islamic Conference of Labor Ministers expressed support for the Palestinian state’s right in acquiring the full membership in international labor organization and all other UN and international organizations.
In the closing statement of the sixth session of the conference, held in Doha, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) framework at work, expressed its full support for Palestine’s right to full membership in all UN organization including the international Labo Organization.
The statement also emphasized the need of enhancing cooperation among member states and the Islamic Organization for Food Security and the Action Center to develop and implement comprehensive training programs aiming at enhancing the skills and knowledge of the workers at agriculture.
The statement noted the importance of experience exchange about digital transformation and organizing modern work patterns, including remote work and working on digital platform, to ensure workers protection and enhancing economic sustainability.
It called for creating an appropriate environment for conducting national studies on occupational health and safety.
