Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani confirmed Italy’s commitment to contributing to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
In a post on the “X” platform on Saturday, Tajani stated: “I had a lengthy phone call with US Secretary of State, discussing the ongoing ceasefire in Gaza. We are working together for the swift implementation of President Trump’s peace plan.”
Tajani emphasized that the Italian government, together with the United States and other European and regional partners, will remain fully committed to creating the right conditions for stability in Gaza.
“We are ready to contribute with our military personnel to a peace and security mission and with our companies to help rebuild Gaza, starting with schools and hospitals,” Tajani added
