Jordan, UAE reject Israeli Statements and Call for End to War on Gaza

Abu Dhabi ,SANA -King Abdullah II of Jordan and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed during talks in Abu Dhabi on Sunday their rejection of Israeli statements and policies that threaten the security and stability of the region.

According to Petra News Agency, the two leaders stressed their unwavering support for the rights of the Palestinian people and the need to intensify international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution, which they emphasized as the only path to lasting regional security and stability.

They called for an immediate end to the war on Gaza and for the unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid, rejecting any Israeli plans aimed at entrenching the occupation or expanding military control over the Strip.

The two sides also reiterated their opposition to settlement expansion in the West Bank, warning that such actions undermine the two-state solution and threaten prospects for peace. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has continued its genocidal campaign in Gaza, marked by a tightened blockade, obstruction of aid, and provocative rhetoric invoking the so-called “Greater Israel Vision.
