GAZA, SANA- 11 Palestinians, including two children, have died due to famine and malnutrition, in Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, medical sources said.
Palestinian Medical sources in Gaza Strip told WAFA News Agency on Monday that the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition in the Strip has risen to 300, including 117 children.
On Friday, the United Nations officially declared a famine in Gaza City, warning that it could spread to the cities of Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis by the end of September.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres called on Israel to fulfill its obligations under international law and ensure the delivery of food and medical supplies to the people of the Gaza Strip.
The humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen, as Israel continues its blockade on the Strip since the genocidal war started in October 7, 2023.
