Gaza Conference denounces aggression on Palestinians as flagrant challenge to humanity

Ankara, SANA-Participants in the Gaza Conference, held in Istanbul, declared that Israeli aggression against Gaza is a flagrant challenge to humanity and the values of justice, freedom, and dignity.

In a joint statement, they affirmed that supporting the Palestinian people is a universal humanitarian duty, stressing that unity and collective responsibility are essential to achieve victory and dignity. The World Federation reiterated its unwavering support for Palestine and it’s just cause.

Dr. Abdul Wahab Akıncı, President of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Turkey, emphasized that the Palestinian resistance has revived hope across the Muslim world, describing Palestine as a real test for the nation.

The conference, themed “Gaza: An Islamic and Humanitarian Responsibility,” gathered about 100 scholars from 50 countries. It will conclude on August 29 with a closing statement at Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia Mosque.
