Switzerland slams Israeli settlement expansion in E1 area

Bern, SANA- Switzerland slammed the Israeli decision to proceed with the settlement plan in the area known as “E1” in the West Bank, emphasizing that such policies violate international law and undermine the two-State solution.

The Swiss Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement on X platform its rejection of the announced construction of thousands of settlement units in “E1” and in the illegal colony of Ma’ale Adumim.

This decision violates international law, undermines the two-state solution, and fuels tensions across the region, the statement added
