Al-Sakaf and al-Ali discuss reforming the structure of the Syrian Health Ministry

Damascus, SANA-Minister of Administrative Development Mohammad Hassan Al-Sakaf and Minister of Health Dr. Musab al-Ali held a joint meeting today at the Ministry of Administrative Development headquarters.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to modernize the organizational structure of the Ministry of Health to keep pace with the growing demands of healthcare work, as part of the completion of the comprehensive institutional transformation project.

The discussion focused on the importance of enhancing the efficiency of administrative performance and ensuring greater flexibility in responding to healthcare needs by establishing a clear methodology for distributing tasks and powers, thus achieving integration between the ministry’s health directorates and institutions.

The two sides affirmed that developing the administrative structure is a fundamental step toward improving the quality of health services and reflects the government’s commitment to implementing the principles of good governance and effective management in the health sector.
