Damascus, SANA- Health Minister, Musab al-Ali discussed Wednesday, with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Norwegian Embassy in Syria, Hilde Haraldstad, ways to enhance joint health cooperation.
The Minister emphasized the need to secure health needs to ensure the safe return of Syrian expatriates, pointing out that the Ministry is working within several priorities, most notably the file of mental health, especially among children, reproductive health and blood banks.
In turn, Haraldstad affirmed her country’s desire to support Syria’s healthcare sector in various areas, particularly blood banks, noting that coordination is underway with relevant authorities to provide additional support to Syria and implement various projects.
