Damascus, SANA-Health Minister, Musab al-Ali discussed on Wednesday with the World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Syria, Christina Bethke ways to enhance joint cooperation.
Minister al-Ali thanked the organization for its efforts to rehabilitate infrastructure, support the health sector, and provide training and rehabilitation, noting that a health plan has been developed to more accurately determine needs regarding destroyed hospitals, lack of equipment, medical supplies, and medicines.
In turn, Bethke pointed to the organization’s ongoing coordination with the ministry to enhance and implement its plan to improve health services, including rehabilitation, securing the necessary medicines, and renewing the joint cooperation strategy according to the priorities determined by the current stage.
