Damascus, SANA- Coinciding with the World Cancer Day, Dr. Maher al-Sharaa, Acting Minister of Health, has inspected work at al-Biruni University Hospital, which specializes in treating cancer patients.
During his tour of the hospital, Dr. al-Sharaa visited all departments providing therapeutic and diagnostic services, as well as the surgical operations department and the specialized Basmati unit for treating pediatric tumors.
On the sidelines of the tour, Dr. al-Sharaa met with the Saudi medical team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), who are visiting the hospital to conduct surgeries. He commended their efforts in providing health services to the Syrian people.
