Damascus, SANA- Health Minister in the caretaker government, Dr. Maher al-Sharaa, discussed with a delegation from the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) ways to revitalize the health sector in Syria.
During a meeting held Tuesday at the Ministry’s headquarters, the two sides discussed ways to improve services and respond to health challenges in different governorates.
Dr. al-Sharaa noted that the Ministry has developed a response plan to crises, and to overcome difficulties in the health sector, and work at full capacity to improve the quality of health services provided to patients.
Dr. al-Sharaa underscored the importance of continuous cooperation with international and local organizations and institutions to achieve the Ministry’s goals in raising the level of healthcare and developing public health systems.
