Ways to reactivate “Amal” Organization discussed

Damascus, SANA- Health Minister in the caretaker government, Dr. Maher al-Sharaa, reviewed with the Syrian Organization for Persons with Disabilities (Amal) ways to reactivate the organization and offer medical and rehabilitation services.

Ways to reactivate “Amal” Organization discussed

During a meeting held Saturday at the Ministry’s headquarters, Dr. al-Sharaa stressed that the ministry pays great attention to children’s health and to ensuring the necessary health services for them, noting that work is underway to reactivate health institutions and facilities according to the priorities.

He underlined the need to organize and develop work, restructure the organization, and put an end to corruption and administrative laxity.

For his part, Dr. Asaad al-Asaad, a member of the Board of Trustees of the (Amal) Organization, provided a detailed explanation of the organization’s work and the services it provides.

Al-Asaad highlighted the urgent need to restore funding and activate the organization’s work.
