According to a statement posted by the Ministry of Health on its Telegram channel, the meeting reviewed the country’s most pressing health needs and discussed the progress the ministry has made in recent months despite the challenges facing Syria’s healthcare system.

Al-Ali outlined the ministry’s future strategy to improve the preparedness of the national health system, expand its capacity, and strengthen emergency response capabilities. The two sides also discussed mechanisms for supporting the plan in cooperation with the WHO to help improve healthcare services provided to citizens.
