Homs, 28. Dec (SANA) Al-Qusayr Field Hospital in Homs province in central Syria has received a new anesthesia machine as part of the “Fajr Al-Qusayr” campaign, aimed at strengthening healthcare services in the region.
The hospital’s director, Mohammad Idris, told SANA that the equipment was donated by Dar Al-Zahraa Hospital in the Lebanese city of Tripoli and will help enhance medical services for residents of the al-Qusayr area, home to around 160,000 people.
He added the new machine will improve patient care and support the hospital’s surgical capacity.
Opened in October, the hospital has 60 beds and includes an operating theatre, a 12-bed intensive care unit, a dialysis center equipped with six modern machines, and a physical rehabilitation center for patients with physical, hearing, and psychological disabilities.
Last month, the “Fajr Al-Qusayr” campaign raised approximately $10.08 million to fund service and development projects in the al-Qusayr area in southwestern Homs countryside.
