Interior security in Daraa requires a ban on the carrying of weapons in Public Places

Daraa, SANA – The Internal Security Command in Daraa province issued a statement Saturday confirming the strict prohibition of carrying weapons in public places, noting that carrying weapons illegally poses a direct threat to the security and stability of society and constitutes a clear violation of applicable laws and regulations.

The command stated in its statement, which was reported by the Daraa Governorate page on its channel on “Telegram,” that “it is prohibited to show off weapons or use them at events and gatherings, and any form of threat or extortion using weapons.”

The statement affirmed that deterrent legal action will be taken against anyone caught violating these instructions without any leniency, emphasizing that weapons are only for protecting the homeland.
