Syria International Construction Exhibition "Syria Build" launches in Damascus

Damascus – SANA

The Syria International Construction Exhibition “Syria Build” continues its activities at the Damascus Countryside Fairgrounds, with the second day marking the official opening attended by several ministers and officials, alongside broad participation from local and international companies specializing in the construction sector.

Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic for Cabinet Affairs, Engineer Ali Kaddah, affirmed that the exhibition represents a strategic step toward rebuilding Syria through the agreements and contracts to be signed by participating companies, which will positively impact trade activity and enhance import and export.

Minister of Religious Endowments, Mohammad Abu Al-Khair Shukri, emphasized that post-liberation Syria is steadily advancing toward urban development.

Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mustafa Abdul Razzaq, stated that “Syria Build” serves as a vital platform for exchanging expertise and modern technologies.

The exhibition is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, and Damascus Chamber of Commerce. It runs until the 30th of September, bringing together the latest innovations in the world of construction — a step toward rebuilding Syria with creativity and sustainability.
