Israeli occupation forces penetrate Quneitra Countryside, arrest 7 Civilians

Quneitra, SANA-Israeli occupation forces renewed their aggressions on Wednesday in Quneitra countryside, raiding the town of Jubata al-Khashab in the northern countryside at dawn and arresting seven people after storming and searching several homes.

According to SANA’s correspondent, a patrol of five vehicles carrying around 30 soldiers entered the town at 3:00 a.m. from the newly established Israeli base in the Jubata al-Khashab forest. The forces carried out searches, detained seven residents, and withdrew at 5:00 a.m. back to the base.

Earlier, at midnight, Israeli forces fired five shells at the abandoned al-Tawahine post east of Breiqa in southern Quneitra, and also carried out incursions into Tal Kroum and the village of al-Asbah, where they erected a checkpoint and searched homes.

Syria strongly condemned these repeated aggressions, stressing that they violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and international law, hinder stability efforts, and require firm action by the international community to halt them.
