Damascus Countryside, SANA- Damascus Countryside Governorate commemorated Tuesday evening the 13th anniversary of Daraya Massacre, which is one of the biggest field executions during the Syrian revolution.
The commemoration was held with the presence of Damascus Countryside Governor, Amer al-Sheikh, and Qatar Ambassador to Damascus, Khalifa Abdullah Al Mahmoud Al-Sharif, under the slogan “Commemorating Great Daraya Massacre and Displacement of its People”.
In his speech, Damascus countryside Governor said: “The massacre represented one link in a long chain of crimes committed by the former regime”.
In turn, Qatari Ambassador offered his condolences and stressed his country’s support for Syria, emphasizing the special place of Daraya city in the hearts of Qatari people.
