London, SANA – The “Influence” classification conducted by the British magazine “The Times” added six Syrian universities to its 2025 edition, based on their contribution to supporting the sustainable development goals recommended by the United Nations.

The Director of the Classification Office at the University of Damascus, Dr.Marwan Al-Rai, stated to “SANA” today “The university of “Damascus, Aleppo, the International Private University for Science and Technology, and Al-Zaytouna International University, the Arab Private University, and Al-Manara University” were added to the list altogether”. The University of Damascus ranked first locally and “1001” globally, while the other five universities ranked equally second locally and “+1501” globally.
