Hasakah, Feb. 25 (SANA) Syria’s Education Ministry has sent a shipment of 100,000 textbooks to Hasakah province to support schools in areas that returned to government control earlier this month.
The delivery marks the first in a planned series of shipments aimed at supplying schools across the province with required textbooks for all grade levels.
Hasakah was brought back under government control in early February as part of an integration agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Since then, authorities have been working to restore public services, including education and healthcare.
The ministry said additional consignments are being prepared and will be distributed in the coming weeks to ensure students and teachers have access to necessary learning materials.
Officials said the shipment is part of broader efforts to stabilize education services in the province and strengthen the availability of resources in recently reintegrated areas.
