Damascus, Jan.17 (SANA) The final qualification tests of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad began in Damascus with the participation of 261 students from various provinces, at the Seven Gates Hotel.
‘’The tests are organized by the Distinction and Creativity Agency over two days, under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, aiming to appoint the members of the national teams who will represent Syria in upcoming global and international scientific Olympiad competitions. ’SANA report said.
The qualifications cover the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and informatics, within the framework of supporting outstanding students and developing their scientific and competitive abilities.
