The Syrian Universities Forum, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, concluded Saturday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The event drew a large turnout of Syrian, Arab, and international students residing in Saudi Arabia, along with academic and educational figures and representatives from various scientific institutions.
The forum witnessed significant attendance and enthusiastic engagement from students eager to explore study opportunities at Syrian universities, including admission systems, registration procedures, and accredited academic programs. This reflects growing confidence in Syrian higher education and its regional academic presence.
An honorary shield was presented to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Marwan al-Halabi, in recognition of his efforts to support higher education and promote international academic cooperation. The award was received on his behalf by Dr. Abdul Munim Abdul Hafiz, president of Al-Sham Private University.
