Ankara, SANA- Syria and Turkey discussed Wednesday ways to boost regional partnerships and expand economic cooperation between the two sides.
That came during a meeting between Syrian Representatives of chambers of commerce and industry and their Turkish counterparts.
“With a participation of representatives of commerce and industry chambers from several Syrian cities, including Damascus, Aleppo, and Idlib, Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized “Kahramanmaraş-Syria Regional Economic Cooperation and Investment Summit” Anadolu Agency Said in a statement.
In his speech, Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman, Mustafa Buluntu, underlined the importance of economic cooperation with Syria, saying “We are exerting more efforts to advance our cities financially and economically and that Kahramanmaraş’s deep-rooted industrial and trade culture and willingness to work will be a fundamental pillar of our partnership with Syria.”
In turn, Aleppo Commerce Chamber Chairman, Mohammed Saeed Sheikh Al-Kar, noted to the efforts to create a system based on establishing good relations and solidarity with neighboring countries aiming at developing trade, economy, and industry in Syria.
Sheikh Al-Kar went on saying “We aim to make private investments in textile sector by establishing joint companies between Kahramanmaraş and Aleppo, and as brotherly countries, we want to uplift the levels of partnerships in export and import field.
