Syria, Qatar explore prospects to boost cooperation in various energy sectors

Damascus, SANA – Energy Minister Eng. Mohammad al-Bashir met Monday with Qatari Ambassador in Damascus, Khalifa Abdullah al-Mahmoud, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in various energy sectors.

The meeting, held at the ministry headquarters, also addressed challenges related to the oil, gas, electricity, and water resources sectors, as well as the ministry’s efforts to provide the best services to citizens.

Minister al-Bashir praised the efforts of the state of Qatar in supporting the Syrian people across various fields.
