Damascus, SANA- Minister of Agriculture Dr. Amjad Badr, discussed on Sunday with Had of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Syria, Stefan Sakalyan, and the accompanying delegation future cooperation mechanisms between the two sides.
The talks also dealt with the necessity of increasing and activating cooperation with the International Organization of the Red Cross, activating previous projects and facilitating the work of the projects that the organization intends to support in Syria, pointing out the need to avoid obstacles that have obstructed the organization’s work, and the importance of developing a joint action plan to implement the organization’s projects related to farmers.
For his part, Stefan Sakalyan expressed the Red Cross’s desire to expand its projects in Syria, support and finance many projects, especially technical projects, water projects, supplying livestock with vaccines, and scientifically training the ministry’s cadres.
