Abu Dhabi, Sep. 29 (SANA) Central Bank of Syria Governor Mohammad Safwat Raslan chaired the 50th session of the Council of Arab Central Bank Governors and Monetary Agencies in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, after being appointed chairman of the council for this year.
The session brought together governors of central banks and heads of monetary agencies from Arab countries to discuss key economic and financial developments and ways to strengthen monetary and financial stability and Arab banking cooperation.
The discussions also covered the development of payment systems, digital transformation and financial inclusion.
The session coincided with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Arab Monetary Fund.
