Damascus, Sept 5 (SANA) The price of the 21-karat gold in the Syrian market fell by 250 Syrian pounds for 1 gram on Saturday, according to the General Authority for Precious Metals’ Management.
The authority set the selling price at 16,150 Syrian pounds ($132.38) per gram and the buying price at 15,850 pounds ($129.92). The selling price of 18-karat gold stood at 13,850 pounds ($113.52), while the buying price was 13,550 pounds ($111.07).
The authority priced an ounce of gold in the international market at $4,430.
