Damascus, Aug. 30 (SANA) The 63rd Damascus International Fair continued Sunday at Damascus Fairgrounds, marking its fifth day amid a strong turnout and a high level of readiness by service, security and medical teams to ensure smooth movement and visitor safety.
Saturday, the first day the Fair opened to the general public, saw a large influx of visitors, who praised the level of organization, facilities and services provided, particularly the free transportation service offering regular trips from designated pickup points at Bab Touma Square and Baramkeh area in Damascus.
The first three days of the fair were allocated to businessmen, investors and official delegations and featured a series of bilateral meetings and talks aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and opening new prospects for partnerships and investment between Syria and participating countries and entities.
The 63rd Damascus International Fair, which opened on Aug. 26 and runs through Sept. 4 under the slogan “Syria Shines Anew,” brings together local, Arab and international companies, ministries, public authorities and institutions, chambers of commerce, business councils, and local and international pavilions, alongside service, investment and handicraft entities.
