Abu Dhabi, July 26 (SANA)    Syrian Investment Authority Chairman Talal al-Hilali met during his visit to the United Arab Emirates with representatives of the private office of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mana bin Khalifa Al Maktoum (AMKM) to discuss investment cooperation and opportunities to develop strategic partnerships between the two countries, the authority said on Sunday.

The two sides exchanged views on the importance of building clear investment frameworks, structuring projects according to professional foundations and well-studied standards, and enhancing institutional coordination to transform investment opportunities into practical projects with sustainable development impact, according to an authority statement.

Both sides stressed the importance of continuing dialogue with regional and international partners and building partnerships based on trust, transparency and shared vision to create sustainable economic value, support development and enhance investment opportunities in Syria and the region, the statement added.

The Syrian Investment Authority continues its efforts to expand cooperation with regional and international partners and attract investments to various productive and service sectors by promoting available investment opportunities, developing the investment environment, and strengthening partnerships that support economic development, create job opportunities, and increase the private sector’s contribution to reconstruction.
