Investment deal signed to build 32-story business tower in Idlib
Officials sign a deal to build a 32-story business tower in Idlib.

Idlib, April 13 (SANA) Syrian authorities on Monday signed an investment agreement to build the “Idlib Business Tower,” a major mixed-use development in the city center aimed at boosting economic activity and attracting investment.

The agreement was signed during a ceremony organized by the Syrian Investment Authority in cooperation with Idlib Governorate at the city’s Cultural Center.

The project will be developed by Takween & Enmaa for Development and Investment, in partnership with Arab Cities Group Holding, EDEC – Economic Engineering Company, and Eight Dimensions.

A representative of the developer said the project would be the first of its kind in the region. The 32-story tower is set to include underground parking, a hypermarket, a shopping mall, office spaces, medical facilities such as imaging centers and specialized clinics, as well as a five-star hotel.

Construction is expected to begin within about four months and be completed in three years, with the project projected to create around 2,500 jobs.

Local officials said the development could pave the way for additional projects across the governorate, describing it as part of a broader effort to stimulate investment and economic growth.

The project aligns with the Syrian Investment Authority’s policy to facilitate both domestic and foreign investment by streamlining procedures and providing services such as feasibility studies and advisory support.
