Deir Ezzor, Apr. 3 (SANA) Internal security forces have reinforced measures to secure and protect oil tanker trucks convoys departing from al-Omar oil field in Deir Ezzor province and heading toward the city of Banyas, as part of a comprehensive plan to safeguard oil infrastructure and ensure the safe transport of vital resources.
The measures include intensified monitoring and protection along transport routes to prevent any threats targeting oil tanker trucks movements and maintain the continuity of energy supply lines.

These steps come within broader efforts to secure strategic facilities and reinforce stability in areas linked to the production and transport of oil resources.
Al-Omar oil field is one of the largest and most significant energy assets in Syria, making its connection to the Banyas refinery—the nation’s primary processing hub—a vital artery for the Syrian economy.
