Damascus, Feb.16 (SANA) Chairman of the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority, Omar al-Hosari, explored Monday with a delegation from the Syrian-British Business Council, headed by Mounzer Nazha, ways to advance investment relations and expand joint cooperation opportunities in the civil aviation sector.
The two sides reviewed prospects for cooperation aimed at supporting and modernizing air transport infrastructure and broadening international partnerships in a manner that serves the shared interests of both parties.
Both sides underscored the importance of continued coordination and institutional communication, as well as fostering an attractive investment environment in the civil aviation sector in line with approved development plans.
The meeting was attended by John Wilkes, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Syrian-British Business Council.
Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar issued a decision on December 15 forming the Syrian-British Business Council as part of efforts to enhance economic cooperation between Syria and Britain.
