Damascus, Jan. 15 (SANA) The chairman of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce (FSCC), Alaa al-Ali, discussed with the Saudi ambassador to Damascus, Faisal bin Saud al-Mujfel, ways to develop economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, held Wednesday at the Saudi Embassy in Damascus, both sides stressed the importance of accelerating institutional coordination with the Saudi Federation of Chambers of Commerce and encouraging Saudi investment in the Syrian market to expand the partnership between the business communities of the two countries.
They also called for creating an attractive and secure business environment for investors, which would support the flow of quality investment, enhance cooperation in priority economic sectors, and serve the common interests of both countries.
