Riyadh, Dec. 15 (SANA) Syrian Airlines and Saudi logistics company SAL signed a strategic partnership agreement on Monday aimed at upgrading air cargo and ground handling services for Syrian Air flights at Saudi airports.
The agreement was concluded on the sidelines of the “Made in Saudi Arabia” exhibition, currently being held in Riyadh, and seeks to strengthen cooperation in air freight operations and logistical support.
Syrian Airlines said the partnership forms part of its broader strategy to expand regional partnerships and deepen cooperation in air cargo services, steps officials said would support trade flows and boost economic exchange between Syria and Saudi Arabia.
The agreement also aims to advance aviation logistics services in a way that contributes to shared economic growth and enhances operational efficiency in the air transport sector.
The “Made in Saudi Arabia 2025” exhibition opened on Tuesday in Riyadh, with Syria participating as guest of honor. The three-day event is regarded as Saudi Arabia’s leading industrial showcase and reflects the goals of Vision 2030 to diversify the economy, strengthen local content, and position the Kingdom as an emerging global industrial power.
