Syrian Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, Bassel Abdul Hanan, met with Saudi Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Khalil Ibrahim Salma, to discuss ways to enhance industrial and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The talks focused on exchanging expertise in manufacturing and modern technology, and reviewing joint investment opportunities that would drive economic development and support strategic partnerships in the industrial sector.
This meeting took place on the sidelines of the General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Riyadh, where both sides affirmed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in various industrial and commercial fields, in order to achieve common interests and support sustainable economic growth. The Syrian delegation visited gthe Gulf Laboratory in Riyadh.
In a related context, the Syrian delegation participating in the conference, headed by Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, Bassel Abdul Hanan, visited the Gulf Laboratory in Riyadh. During the visit, they discussed prospects for cooperation and strengthening technical partnerships between the two countries.
The deputy minister and the delegation were briefed on the company’s advanced laboratory system and the integrated technical services it provides to support manufacturers and importers according to the highest international standards.
The Syrian delegation expressed its admiration for the level of modern laboratory equipment, the efficiency of the technical staff, and the professionalism of the performance. They emphasized that these capabilities reflect the advanced standing of the Gulf Laboratory in the fields of testing, calibration, and certification, and its continued development of services and expansion of cooperation to achieve the highest levels of quality.
