Minister al-Bashir discussed with international delegations ways to strengthen cooperation in exploration, production, refining, and infrastructure development, as well as examining projects in renewable energy and advanced power generation technologies.

“Syria is keen to strengthen cooperation with global companies to advance modernization and sustainability goals,” said Minister al-Bashir during the meetings in Abu Dhabi.

The minister affirmed that Syria seeks to develop effective partnerships that modernize the national energy sector, enhance efficiency, and support sustainable development strategies.

The meetings were attended by Deputy Minister for Oil Affairs Ghiath Diab and Deputy Minister for Electricity Omar Shaqrouq.

Syria is participating in ADIPEC 2025, which kicked off on Monday in the United Arab Emirates under the theme “Smart Energy for Accelerated Progress.”
