Syria’s Transport Minister Participates in Saudi International Railways Conference

Minister of Transport, Yarub Badr took part in took part in the second edition of the Saudi International Railway Conference and Exhibition 2025, held in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia.

The event, held under the theme “Driving Transformation, Shaping the Future Track,” brought together a wide range of local and international stakeholders and experts in the railway and transport industries.

Minister Badr participated in a ministerial panel discussion alongside Saudi Transport Minister Saleh Al-Jasser, Jordanian Transport Minister Nidal Al-Qatamin, and Bahraini Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.

The session discussed ways to strengthen regional cooperation in the field of railway transport and explored joint projects for land and logistics connectivity among Arab countries, aimed at supporting sustainable development and facilitating the movement of people and goods across borders.

The conference serves as a platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to exchange experiences and showcase the latest innovations shaping the future of rail transport and sustainable mobility in the region.
