Damascus, SANA – Governor of the Central Bank of Syria (CBS), Abdul Qader al-Husriya, assured that the Syrian Development Fund, which was launched on Thursday by President Ahmad al-Sharaa, represents a historical chance for reconstructing what the last regime has destroyed, and transforming Syria into a prosperous and green country.
In a post on LinkedIn, Al-Husriya stated Friday that the Syrian Development Fund will contribute to healing Syria’s wounds, rebuilding it with the help of the Syrian people, and returning displaced persons and refugees to their land.
Al-Husriya announced the Central Bank’s readiness to support the fund’s mission by enhancing confidence in the financial system, ensuring monetary stability, and developing a strong, transparent, and flexible banking environment.
