Al-Badia Cement Company to implement a Second Production Line

Damascus, SANA- Al-Badia Cement Company announced the launch of investments exceeding $200 million to expand its operations and begin construction of a second production line.

This coincided with the visit to Damascus of a Saudi delegation of more than 130 businessmen and investors, led by the Saudi Minister of Investment.

Al-Badia Cement Company Chairman of the Board of Directors, Imad Abdul Qader al-Muhaidib, explained to SANA that the company launched investments exceeding $200 million during the visit.

These investments aim to expand the grinding and packaging lines and begin construction of the second production line, which will increase its production capacity to more than five million tons of cement per year.

A high-level delegation, led by Saudi Investment Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz al-Falih, and comprising a group of Saudi businessmen, arrived in Damascus to work on signing economic agreements of interest to both countries.
