Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Fine Artists Union condemned Israeli repeated aggression on the Syrian territory, affirming its full support for the Syrian Arab Army and security forces in their efforts to protect national sovereignty.
In a statement published on its official Facebook account, the union condemned unfortunate events that took place in Sweida province, expressing its deep regret for the loss of lives among the nation’s citizens, and stressing the need to stop the bloodshed and preserve civil peace.
The statement called on fine artists in Syrian provinces to participate in peaceful demonstrations in support of the army and security forces, and to express national unity and reject strife and aggression.
