Damascus, SANA- The Syrian young poet Yazan Qasim Issa won the third prize in the 11th season of the Prince of Poets competition of 2025, which is organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
Yazan won third place after qualifying for the final stage by a decision of the jury, which awarded him the highest score among the participating Arab poets.
Prince of Poets is a literary program that takes the form of a competition in the field of Arabic poetry and dedicated to the identification and promotion of poetic talent and at the end of each competition a poet is crowned with the title of Prince of Poets.
