Hama, Sept. 6 (SANA) The 2026 Hama Spring Festival opened on Saturday, drawing more than 560 companies and institutions from across Syria to a 25,000-square-meter venue featuring commercial exhibitions alongside cultural, educational and entertainment activities.
The festival brings together businesses and organizations from sectors including trade, tourism, education, manufacturing, furniture and industrial equipment, with organizers pointing to broader participation from outside Hama this year.

Hadeel Suleiman of Jusoor for Exhibitions and Conferences said universities are participating for the first time through a dedicated education section, while the tourism sector also has a strong presence.
She said the growing number of exhibitors and institutions from other Syrian provinces marks a significant expansion for the festival.
The event features daily interactive programs on its main stage, as well as activities for children and families. Several government directorates and ministries are also participating.
Basel al-Mohammad, Hama Governorate’s media director and a member of the festival’s executive committee, said the event is intended to showcase the province’s cultural, intellectual and social diversity.

Tamam al-Shibli, head of the festival’s executive committee, said this year’s edition has expanded its commercial component compared with previous years, with a broader range of industries and businesses represented.
The festival combines commercial exhibitions with cultural, tourism, educational and entertainment events aimed at attracting visitors of different ages and interests.
