Damascus, Jan. 22 (SANA) Syrian singer Joudy Shaheen has made history by winning the sixth season of “The Voice: Ahla Sawt,” becoming the first Syrian contestant to claim the title in the Arab television franchise.
Shaheen emerged victorious after a season-long competition featuring performers from across the Arab world, earning widespread acclaim from both judges and viewers for her vocal power, technical precision, and emotional delivery. Her win marks a significant milestone for Syrian artists on one of the region’s most-watched talent shows.
Advancing to the final round with a standout classical performance, Shaheen topped audience voting, sealing her place in the program’s history and delivering a long-awaited triumph for Syrian representation on the show.
Her victory capped a strong season for Syrian contestants, two of whom reached the semifinals, highlighting the continued presence and resilience of Syrian musical talent on the regional stage.
